People used to live in the same city throughout their lives, but now they change where they live several times. What is the cause? Do you think it is a positive or negative trend?

Sample Answer:

In the present scenario, people shift to different places during their lifetime while in the past they used to stay at the same home forever. This essay will discuss why work and study are the prominent reasons behind this trend and how it somehow makes it a negative development in the upcoming paragraphs.

For obtaining a fruitful career and better educational amenities, contemporary people tend to migrate to other cities or nations. It allows them to explore more work and educational opportunities. For example, a verdict has given by an organization led by the UK government revealed that 90% of the working professionals and scholars move multiple times throughout their life because of green pasture and advance facilities. Hence, work and study are the two primary reasons why people do not live in the same place for their life.

Even after getting the best job or education, they have to face some negative consequences of moving from one place to another. The major drawback is stability. Due to migration from their home country, they take too long to become stable in the new environment. Sometimes, this happens because of the cultural shocks, and sometimes, it happens due to atmospheric and weather conditions. As a result, migrants become mentally and physically unstable. For example, a study conducted by CNN news deduced that depression and chest congestion are the most common health complications faced by international migrants.

In conclusion, people of the current era prefer to live in different places because of work and study, by which, they go through difficulties like an unstable life.
