Sample Answer:

The state of the art technology has enabled humans to enjoy better transportation today than they do in the past. However, it is generally observed that traffic density is getting denser in significant cities of the world which is creating a serious concern. I will pen down some of the considerable reasons for this trend and suggest a solution to cater to this problem.

In the first place, one of the most compelling reasons is the financial status of the people as they have become more conscious about their status in society. They love to travel in cars to show off their wealth to others, and this has caused an enormous increase in the number of cars on roads which eventually become an issue. To make the picture more clear consider the World Bank report which reveals that the World’s one of the big cities Dubai has more cars than the numbers of humans there. Thus, it is worth mentioning that the increasing traffic on roads is the result of affluent behaviour of our society.

On the flip side, there are still ways with which we can solve this problem, and one of the pressing solutions is imposing heavy taxes on the cars and their fuel. This will put pressure on the pockets of the public, and they will think multiple time before refilling their fuel tanks with the high-priced fuel. Resultantly, it will divert their preference of moving on their vehicle to public transport. Hence, the concentration of traffic reduces.

To cap it all, I must conclude that traffic is becoming one of the primary issues of metropolitan cities, due to our absurd living standards. However, we can cover the situation by increasing the prices of fuel.
