Many people think that global warming can harm businesses. However, some believe that weather change can bring numerous business possibilities. This essay shall firstly discuss how climate changes will contribute to economic decline, and I agree with this viewpoint, and secondly, how some parts of the world would see a sharp rise in business opportunities due to it, followed by a reasoned conclusion.
Numerous individuals think the rising temperature would have negative consequences on the business. Due to the heat waves, glaciers will melt, and the seawater would be rising drastically. As a result, countries nearby the oceans would be flooded. A survey conducted by a prominent journal states that many small island nations will be catastrophically affected by sea-level rises in the future, and famous tourist destinations like Bahama would be underwater by 2050. If such a thing happens, it will hit the tourism industry severely.
On the other hand, some people see the weather change as a boon for businesses. They assume that when the temperature increases in cold countries like Russia and Canada, the farmers of these nations would be able to do better farming. Resultantly, more business opportunities will bring economic stability to these countries because of the pleasant weather. For example, crops such as Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and Peppers require hot weather. Therefore, because of the weather changes, farmers will produce such vegetables locally and earn more profits in nations like Russia.
In conclusion, even though cold countries will see a sharp rise in business opportunities, global warming would bring much more devastation for businesses and the world.
